Chocolate covered pretzels. Let me just tell you if you’re trying to look like you have your life together this is the thing to make. When I️ say anyone can make these, I️ really mean anyone. They are so simple to make and they looking amazing and are such a sweet gesture during the holiday season. I made my pretzels specifically for Christmas, hence the red, green and white sprinkles but you can really dress these up for any (and every) occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 packet pretzel rods {I️ pack makes about
  • 1 bag candy melts {any flavor, any color}
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • Desired toppings – Sprinkles/nuts/candy cane/etc.

Directions

  1. Measure a piece of wax/parchment paper and line a cookie pan or any flat pan with your sheet. Place aside.
  2. Pour candy melts into a narrow microwaveable cup and pour in 1 tablespoon of oil.
  3. Melt in 30 second intervals – normally take a total of two minutes to fill melt but you’ll want to stir every 30 seconds to make sure you don’t over heat.
  4. Once your chocolate is melted, had in half a tablespoon of oil and stir. Your chocolate will be thick enough to hold but liquidy enough to coat the pretzels.
  5. Take your pretzels rods and start dipping! The best way to the do this is to dip , spin and then scrape one side of the pretzels and the side of your cup. The scraped side will be the side you lay flat on your pan.
  6. As you’re sipping and laying, start sprinkles your pretzels with your preferred toppings. You want to do this before the chocolate dries.
  7. Once you have your fill sheet ready, place the pan in the fridge for 6 minutes. This will ensure a set shell on the pretzel.
  8. Once your pretzels are all set, move them from the wax paper onto a plate and they are all set to serve!
  9. Enjoy!
